If you are interested in history then Glynogwr has many hidden secrets surrounding the area. In 1990 archaeologists unearthed an ancient axe, a knife and a small cross that read “Pro Anima Artorius” meaning For The Soul Of King Arthur. These finds came after a King Arthur Memorial stone had been discovered there. Historian Alan Wilson “This is the most ancient church in Britain according to very clear historical records”
There are many untouched areas of Wales waiting to be discovered, Dimbath Rocks is less than 2 miles form the lodge, it is said to have once been a cave system were the Celtic Princess used as a hide out when fighting the Normandy invaders in the 11th and 12th centuries, having quickly conquered the low lands the Celtic resistance started here, please seek professional guidance when venturing out.
